The new national WHS harmonisation laws, effective January 2012, bring greater importance to employers' due diligence and obligation from the Person Conducting the Business or Undertaking (PCBU) to ensure all individuals have “current industry competency”.
Assessing for Verification of Competency enables businesses to confirm that their employees are competent in their skills and using equipment.
A VOC course is designed for small groups and can be conducted onsite in as little as two hours. But we still where we go through duty of care, and a practical assessment, which may have a stagged finish to enable workers to get back to work quickly.
This VOC assessment record can form the basis for your internal training plan and records as well as evidence of employer actions and responsibility in meeting the PCBU and WHS requirements.

A forklift refresher course is slightly longer as it is designed to cover instructions and an assessment.
Designed for small groups and can be conducted onsite, where we discuss duty of care obligations, practical operational instructions, plus an assessment both theory and practical.
Duration approximately 3-4 hours
